I don't have a decent wide-angle lens - this is just a piece of the shower view, and I couldn't photograph the depth of the valley and scenery...just looks like a flat blotch of green here...working on a better photo to capture this, stay tuned!

All three of our rentals have a unique feel. The Suite was built and furnished with a "resort suite meets jungle" theme in mind. (Though, keep in mind, this is still the down-to-earth jungle!)
The ground floor on the ocean-side of a larger home on the property, it is quite private, quiet and peaceful. The Suite is two large rooms connected by a hall with a powder-room style bath. The private shower is outdoors under a large mature mango tree with full view of the ocean. The rental has its own private entry and driveway.
All high-end materials were chosen for construction and furnishing. Granite countertops & windowsills compliment classy marble & stone floors - besides looking good these materials keep the rooms cool without wasting energy (a big deal out here off the grid!) Custom-built cherry cabinets, doors & woodwork are among many other quality touches you'll be surprised to find in a rental that is this affordable.
With a king-sized bed, a full-size futon, and the optional twin rollaway, the Suite can sleep up to five. The rollaway is set up in the dining area (upon request) and is perfect for a child or a third adult accompanying a couple who would like privacy.
Large sliding-glass doors in the bed/living area face a beautiful ocean and scenic vista view, looking several miles into our jungle valley. (My photos don't yet capture the panorama or dimension...working on that one!) There is also a small banana and papaya orchard just behind the house.
The Suite also has a fully equipped modern eat-in kitchen, and has been furnished with high-quality tropical-style furnishings. Elephant bamboo furniture, a quality Broyhill dresser, solid-wood tropical futon and Asian dining table/chairs with locally upholstered Hawaiian theme seat cushions.
The custom-built outdoor bamboo shower has a dramatic ocean view. The suite also has the same great access to the jungle and pools as the cottages.
A flat-panel LED HD TV with DVD and inputs for a laptop, iPod/iphone dock, and standard composite inputs so you can play virtually any digital device you bring with you on the TV. (A good thing because there are no signals out here, bring movies on DVD, your laptop, iPod/iPhone, or virtually any kind of digital player. We also have a great video rental store 15 minutes away that is super visitor-friendly - no account needed.)
Hanging on the walls throughout the Suite, the most spectacular adventures along the Road to Hana are presented as framed artwork. A small tag on each photograph bears the name and location of the adventure. If you want more info, just use the Internet connection to view the full detail in the MauiGuidebook.com article.
